زمینه و هدف: امروزه بهره‌گیری از مواد نیروزا به معضل پیچیده‌ای در ورزش تبدیل شده است و باعث آسیب به بافت‌های مختلف می‌شود؛ از طرفی فعالیت ورزشی تأثیر گذاری زیادی در کنترل و بهبود عوامل استرس اکسیداتیو و شاخص‌های التهابی دارد. از این رو هدف مطالعه حاضر بررسی اثر هشت هفته تمرین مقاومتی بر پراکسیداسیون لیپیدی (MDA) و عامل نکروز توموری آلفا (TNF-α) در بافت قلب موش‌های صحرایی در معرض استانازول بود.
روش تحقیق: در این مطالعه تجربی 24 سر موش صحرایی نر با محدوده وزن 150 تا 200 گرم و میانگین سنی 8 هفته، انتخاب و به‌طورتصادفی در 4 گروه 6 سری شامل 1) کنترل (C)، 2) شم (Sh)، 3) مصرف استانازول (S)، 4) مصرف استانازول همراه با تمرین مقاومتی (S+RT) تقسیم شدند. در مدت هشت هفته گروه‌های 3و 4 روزانه mg/kg 5 استانازول به صورت صفاقی دریافت نمودند؛ گروه 4، سه جلسه در هفته با شدت 30 تا 100درصد وزن بدن خود، تمرینات مقاومتی را انجام دادند. جهت تجزیه و تحلیل یافته‌ها از آنالیز واریانس یک‌طرفه همراه با آزمون تعقیبی توکی استفاده شد (05/0>P).
یافته‌ها: استانازول اثر معناداری بر افزایش MDA (001/0=P) و TNF-α (001/0=P) در بافت قلب داشت. با این وجود تمرین مقاومتی منجر به کاهش MDA (001/0=P) و TNF-α (001/0P=) در بافت قلب موش‌های صحرایی در معرض استانازول شد.
نتیجه‌گیری: به نظر می‌رسد مصرف استروئید­های آنابولیک به‌خصوص استانازول باعث افزایش استرس اکسیداتیو و شاخص‌های التهابی در بافت قلب می‌شود؛ در حالی که تمرینات مقاومتی می‌تواند سطوح افزایش یافته استرس اکسیداتیو و عامل‌های التهابی را بهبود بخشد.
