fa تعیین نورموگرام رشد دانش آموزان دختر 11-14 ساله شهر بیرجند در سال 1383 و مقایسه آن با مقادیر مرجع مرکز آمارهای بهداشتی اطفال Pediatrics مقاله اصیل پژوهشی Original Article <div style="text-align: justify;">زمینه و هدف: اندازه گیری قد و وزن از منابع اطلاعاتی مهم در ارزشیابی رشد، تغذیه و سلامت کودکان و نوجوانان می باشد. از آنجا که عوامل ژنتیکی و محیطی هر دو روی رشد تاثیر دارد، منحنی رشد در جوامع مختلف می تواند الگوی متفاوتی داشته باشد. این مطالعه به منظور تعیین نورموگرام رشد در دانش آموزان دختر 11-14 ساله شهر بیرجند و مقایسه آن با مقادیر مرجع مرکز آمارهای بهداشتی (NCHS) و سایر مطالعات مشابه در ایران انجام شد.<br> روش بررسی: این مطالعه مقطعی در سال 1383 روی 1020 دانش آموز دختر مدارس راهنمایی شهربیرجند که با روش نمونه گیری خوشه ای چند مرحله ای انتخاب شده بودند، صورت گرفت. وزن و قد دانش آموزان به روش استاندارد اندازه گیری شد و صدک های مربوطه تعیین و با صدک های NCHS مقایسه شد.<br> یافته ها: براساس نتایج به دست آمده، صدک های وزن و قد دانش آموزان مورد مطالعه مشخصا نسبت به NCHS کاهش نشان داد. با افزایش سن انحراف از NCHS بیشتر می شد و کاهش قد بیشتر از وزن بود.<br> نتیجه گیری: با توجه به نتایج فوق، منحنی های رشد دختران 11-14 ساله بیرجند با NCHS تفاوت دارد. توصیه می شود با بررسیهای دقیق تر و وسیعتر استانداردهای منطقه ای رشد تهیه شود تا در ارزیابی سلامت و اختلالات رشد مورد استفاده قرار گیرد. با توجه به نقش مهم تغذیه در رشد، بهبود وضع تغذیه ای از طریق ارتقای اوضاع اقتصادی خانواده ها و آموزش آنها بخصوص مادران توصیه می شود.</div> <div style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Background and Aim</strong>: Measurement of weight and height is very important source of information in evaluation of growth, nutrition and health of children and adolescence. Since, the growth is affected by genetic, racial, geographical and environmental factors, the growth charts differ from one population to<br> another. The aim of this study was Measurement of weight and height of girls&rsquo; students in range of 11-14 years old in Birjand and comparing with National Center for Health Statistic (NCHS) and other studies, in Iran.<br> <strong>Materials and Methods</strong>: This cross-sectional study was performed on 1020 girl students, which were selected through multi stage cluster sampling in Birjand city in 2004. The height and weight of the students were measured. The revelant percentiles of height and weight was established and compared with NCHS percentiles. Age and some of demographic factors of students were completed in questionnaire by interview with students and studding their educational files.<br> <strong>Results</strong>: The height and weight percentiles of 11-14 years old girls in Birjand are significantly lower than NCHS. As age increase, deviation from NCHS increase and height decrease more than height.<br> <strong>Conclusion</strong>: There is a difference between NCHS growth standard and this study. It is recommend that the regional growth standard should be developed by more comprehensive studies so that it could be used for evaluation of health and growth disorders for Iranian children.
